As your current Texas State Beta Club President, I've gotten to see firsthand what works (and what doesn't!) when leading our Beta community. I've learned so much this year, and I'm super excited to bring all those lessons to the national level!
Being Texas State Beta Club President has been incredible! I get to represent thousands of amazing Beta members across our huge state, and I've learned what it really takes to bring people together.
I'm on our UIL Congress Team and made it all the way to State competition in Austin! It's taught me how to speak confidently in front of big groups and really listen to different perspectives.
Between church youth group, varsity athletics, and Beta Club, I've learned that the best leaders show up everywhere — not just when it's convenient or looks good on a resume.

When you "let someone cook," you're basically saying "I trust you to do your thing and do it well!" That's exactly how I want to lead — with confidence and creativity, always thinking about how to support every single Beta member and help us all grow together.
Every Beta member has amazing ideas, but sometimes it's hard to speak up! I'll create digital suggestion boxes and monthly chapter shoutouts so everyone can share their thoughts — whether you're super outgoing or prefer to stay behind the scenes.
Your chapter's service projects are incredible and deserve to be celebrated! I want to highlight different chapters each month so we can all get inspired by each other's creativity and maybe even "borrow" some awesome ideas.
Beta Club is so much stronger when we work together! Let's create more virtual meetups and cross-chapter collaborations because the best friendships and ideas happen when different chapters mix it up.
Being a leader can feel overwhelming sometimes! I'll share quick, practical leadership tips that actually work in real life — think bite-sized advice that helps you feel confident leading your chapter (no complicated recipes required!).
Service is amazing, but it should be fun too! Let's add some excitement with virtual spirit challenges throughout the year and bring that same energy to Nationals — because when we're having fun, we do our best work!
